在英國如何成為精算師？

度娘說：精算師是運用精算方法和技術解決經(jīng)濟問題的專業(yè)人士，是評估經(jīng)濟活動未來財務風險的專家。簡單來說精算師就是保險公司雇用的數(shù)學專業(yè)員工，負責分析風險并量化其財務影響的專門職業(yè)人員，主要從事保險費、賠付準備金、分紅、保險額、退休金、年金等的計算。同時，精算師也肩負著幫助團體理解其決策將會帶來的財務影響的重要人員。

精算師是一個職業(yè)資格認證，在英國大學里即使就讀了精算專業(yè)或數(shù)學統(tǒng)計保險等專業(yè)下設置的精算方向也只是一個學歷，讀完這些精算相關專業(yè)只代表你拿到學士或者碩士學位，和那些讀物理的或者中文的畢業(yè)拿的是一樣的，都是教育部授予的資格，這些和精算師職業(yè)資格認證沒有關系。要獲得精算師職業(yè)資格認證，無論是中國精算師協(xié)會的認證，還是國際上最為認可的北美精算師協(xié)會和英國精算師協(xié)會的認證都需要你們?nèi)竺麉⒓铀麄兊穆殬I(yè)考試，通過所要求科目的考試并滿足一定工作經(jīng)驗要求才能成為“精算師

那么，在英國，如何成為精算師？分為以下兩種方式：

1. To become an 準精算師會員Associate member you need to complete the following:
-Core Technical subjects (CT1-9) either by examination or exemption
需要通過基礎技能課程9門
-Core Applications subjects (CA1-3) either by examination or exemption
需要通過基礎應用課程3門
-Work-based skills - 1 year minimum
至少工作1年
-Professional Skills Course

-Core Technical subjects (CT1-9) either by examination or exemption

那么，如果要成為合格的精算師會員，需要采用第二種方式，也就是一共要參加15門考試。考試難度系數(shù)非常大，學生不僅要掌握精算知識，還需要積累實踐經(jīng)驗掌握如何在實踐中運用。

還有沒有別的捷徑的？當然啦！獲得英國精算師協(xié)會認可的大學，其學生有部分免考權，并不需要15門考試都參加，這樣無疑為學生獲得精算師資格證減少了不少時間和精力。
