美國研究生獎學金分類

美國高校獎學金（校內獎學金）分為非服務性獎學金（Non-Service?Scholarship）、服務性獎學金（Service?Assistantship）和學校貸款（Loan）三種，這里介紹前兩種：

非服務性獎學金

申請比率最大，其金額也最多。它包括學院助學金（Fellowship）、獎學金（Scholarship）、全免學雜費（Tuition?&?Fee?Waiver）以及其他一些學院本身而定的獎勵（awards）。這種awards，不同學院在金額和數量上有很大差別。

1、學院助學金（Fellowship）
??助學金是一種金額最高，但競爭最激烈的非服務性獎學金，一般情況下如果獲得一所學院授予的助學金，便是獲得了全獎，即除了免學雜費、住宿費、保險費、書本費以外，還給獲獎學生一定金額作為其個人消費費用。

申請條件：
助學金在申請過程中競爭尤其激烈，一般除了要求較高的TOEFL、GRE或GMAT成績外，還要有較好的國內成績單、GPA、推薦信和個人陳述(Stndy?Plan)。這些材料的準備要十分注意技巧，做到與眾不同，才能順利地拿到全額獎學金。

2、學費減免（Tuition?Waiver）
??在一些美國院校中，設有免學費的獎學金，有的學院把它作為Scholarships的一種，有的學院把它單獨列出。免學費是在非服務性獎學金中最容易申請的一種。雖然免去了學費，但由于學費只是總花費的一部分，所以如果要獲得足夠的資金，還需同時申請其他形式的獎學金。

服務性獎學金

?包含助教金（Teaching?Assistantship）和助研金（Research?Assistantship）兩種。這種獎學金一般頒發(fā)給碩士生和博士生。服務性獎學金供給學生一定數額的現金，并在大多數學院同時免學雜費(Tuition?and?Fees)，但要求獲得此類資助者每周擔任12-20小時的輔助教學或研究工作。對于申請美國研究生以上級別的中國學生來說，獲得此類獎學金的幾率會比本科生或本科轉學生大得多，多數都是以拿到這兩種服務性薪金的一種加上學費減免來獲得全獎的。絕大多數的美國高校研究生院都設置這兩種資助，然而并非所有的此類資助都能覆蓋一年中的全部費用，但多數都在全部金額的2/3以上。這種資助在每個學院的具體金額都在其專業(yè)系別介紹中說明。

申請條件：
申請助教金（TA）主要看申請人的學業(yè)成績和相關教學經驗，國際學生想要申請當助教，必須具備出色的英語能力。申請必須證明自己具備教學需要的英語表達能力。一般要求托?？谡Z24分以上.

申請助研金（RA）申請人應與系里或教授聯系，表明自己想申請做研究助理的意愿，并按規(guī)定申請，一般來說，申請人需要提供學業(yè)成績和其他英語考試成績，研究專業(yè)和該教授的研究方向關系越大，研究經驗越豐富申請到助理獎學金的機會就越大。

由于學校貸款只限美國本國公民，因此國際生不能申請學校貸款。
