Selection Criteria
Freshman, continuing USC undergraduate, transfer and graduate students are eligible. Applicants should display a strong commitment to the Black community. Selection is on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated financial aid eligibility, leadership and community service. Semi-finalists, selected from a pool of qualified applicants, will be invited for a mandatory interview. Finalists are selected based on the interviews, and are required to complete 20 hours of volunteer service for the USC BAA (10 per semester).
Application process
You must apply for federal, state and university financial aid. The supplementary application is available December 2009. The application deadline is Feb. 2010. To request an application, visit: alumni.usc.edu/baa
