雅思口語考試中，law的話題雖然不算高頻，但每次雅思考試一出，學(xué)生們便為之心痛。這一話題被學(xué)生們戲稱為殺手級(jí)別話題，因?yàn)榇蠖鄶?shù)學(xué)生對(duì)這一話題的背景知識(shí)和相關(guān)材料準(zhǔn)備的不足，導(dǎo)致在雅思考場(chǎng)中發(fā)揮不出自己應(yīng)有的水平。其實(shí)法律這一話題，只要掌握相關(guān)的詞匯以及簡(jiǎn)單例子自然輕松搞定。

Describe a law in your country.

You should say

what the law is

what type of law it is (or, what kind of behaviour this law seeks toregulate)

例文：

The law that I think is good is the plastic-bag usage law which took fecton June 1st 2008. Plastic bags are no longer offered for free when shopping. Younow need to either bring your own bag or pay for a plastic bag. I think it is agreat law because it aims to protect the environment by reducing whitepollution.

I remember the day the law took fect. It was the weekend and I was at thesupermarket buying food for the week. I normally try to do all my shoppingduring the weekend, because I don’t have time during the week to go to thesupermarket. I got to the check-out counter with a full basket of food. Thecheck-out woman asked if I had a bag or if I wanted to purchase a bag. I hadcompletely forgotten about the new law! I ended up having to purchase a bag, butinstead of buying a plastic bag I opted to buy a reusable canvas bag. Though itwas more expensive, I still use that same bag every time I go shopping.
