　　一道例題

　　OG4. The only way for growers to salvage frozen citrus is to process them quickly into juice concentrate bore they rot when warmer weather returns.(A) to process them quickly into juice concentrate bore they rot when warmer weather returns

　　(B) to have it quickly processed into juice concentrate bore warmer weather returns and rots the fruit

　　想必大家都曾仔細(xì)琢磨過這道題。僅從代詞單復(fù)數(shù)的角度去排除A項(xiàng)，但這樣非常危險(xiǎn)，一旦出現(xiàn)我不熟悉的單詞，那我就必死無疑。后來看OG的解釋，才發(fā)現(xiàn)bore they rot when warmer weather returns與 bore warmer weather returns and rots the fruit　在邏輯含義上還是有一些不同的。A項(xiàng)用when 從句，只能表示兩個(gè)動(dòng)作在時(shí)間上同時(shí)發(fā)生，而B項(xiàng)將A項(xiàng)中的when從句變成了動(dòng)賓結(jié)構(gòu)，同時(shí)也將這兩個(gè)事情的邏輯關(guān)系從簡單的時(shí)間關(guān)系(同時(shí)發(fā)生)變成了因果關(guān)系。

　　這個(gè)例子促使我去關(guān)注句子之間存在著的某種邏輯關(guān)系。

　　(1)主從句邏輯關(guān)系：

　　1)名詞性從句(主語從句，賓語從句和同謂語從句)與主句的邏輯關(guān)系可歸到第一天總結(jié)的邏輯關(guān)系中去，實(shí)際上就是把名詞性從句看作一個(gè)句子成分，看它是否與主句中的其它成分搭配。

　　2)形容詞性從句(賓語從句)與主句的邏輯關(guān)系可歸到修飾語部分，也就是修飾語與修飾對象邏輯搭配合理不合理的問題。

　　3)副詞性(狀語從句)從句的問題。

　　狀語從句與主句之間的邏輯關(guān)系有時(shí)間，目的，結(jié)果，原因，讓步，對比，類比，轉(zhuǎn)折(見LZM　P130)。同為狀語從句，但不同的狀語從句與主句之間的關(guān)系不同，在做題時(shí)要按照句子的邏輯含義，分清主從句之間的邏輯關(guān)系是時(shí)間，目的，結(jié)果亦或其它。

　　本題中，分詞詞組修飾the prepetrators不合理，應(yīng)改為條件從句。

　　(2)主從句之間的邏輯層次關(guān)系：

　　1)主從句之間的層次關(guān)系：

　　從句子邏輯意思上分清哪一從句與哪一從句并列。句子與句子之間應(yīng)該是并列關(guān)系還是主從關(guān)系。

　　OG28. The rise in the Commerce Department&aposs index of leading economic indicators suggest that the economy should continue its expansion into the coming months, but that the mixed performance of the index&aposs individual components indicates that economic growth will proceed at a more moderate pace than in the first quarter of this year.
