東部理工學(xué)院（EIT）創(chuàng)建于1974年，坐落在風(fēng)光迤邐的霍克斯灣（Hawke,s Bay）的內(nèi)皮爾市（Napier），可稱作是新西蘭最美的學(xué)府之一，同時也是近年發(fā)展迅速的高等學(xué)府之一，更是新西蘭北島東海岸高等教育重要的奠基者。
澳際留學(xué)老師介紹，東部理工學(xué)院以注重實踐與應(yīng)用為其辦學(xué)宗旨！課程設(shè)計多元化，多樣化，實踐性強，針對國內(nèi)、國際市場，有近百種專業(yè)課：經(jīng)濟、商業(yè)、計算機、自然科學(xué)、社會科學(xué)、技術(shù)、教育、護理、保健、運動休閑等供國內(nèi)外學(xué)生選擇，并且提供不同等級的學(xué)歷教育：從各類證書學(xué)歷，大專學(xué)歷，本科學(xué)歷，研究生學(xué)歷到碩士學(xué)歷。所有畢業(yè)證書、學(xué)位證書均獲本國和國際認可。
隨著全球一體化的進程，EIT保持和發(fā)展與國際高等院校在教學(xué)，科研以及國際學(xué)生互換的合作關(guān)系。2011年，EIT和位于Gisborne的Tairawhiti polytechnic合并，現(xiàn)有兩個校區(qū)。2013年，EIT迎來來自40多個國家近440名國際留學(xué)生在此學(xué)習(xí)。
