教育類專業(yè)分類
宏觀:教育類宏觀上主要是教育學,即Education;主要專業(yè)有:教育研究、教育管理、教育學與社會研究等;
微觀:微觀上的教育即細化為教學,即 Teaching; 主要專業(yè)有:TESOL、早期教育、數(shù)學、化學、物理、體育、藝術教育與管理、音樂教育、英語教育等等;
英國教育類專業(yè)優(yōu)勢
無論是剛剛畢業(yè)的大學生,還是已經從教多年的教師,都可以根據自己的情況找到適合的英國大學的相關教育專業(yè)。
即使是對于剛剛畢業(yè),非教育專業(yè)背景,但希望攻讀教育類碩士課程的學生,英國大學都提供有相關的銜接課程。

教育學就業(yè)方向
普通高校是教育學原理、教育史、高等教育學等理論性比較強的專業(yè)畢業(yè)生的主要去向。但是目前在碩士階段能夠進入高校工作的難度越來越大,基本上都要求博士學歷。
全國中小學進行課程改革,具有較強教育理論素養(yǎng)的人才受到歡迎,隨著中小學老師待遇的不斷提高,以及教育職業(yè)的穩(wěn)定性,越來越多的教育學專業(yè)畢業(yè)生開始進入到中小學。
特殊教育專業(yè)主要培養(yǎng)具備普通教育和特殊教育的知識和能力的高級專門人才,他們畢業(yè)后主要在特殊教育機構及與特殊教育相關的機構從事特殊教育實踐、理論研究、管理工作等。
與教育相關的出版社、報社出版社,尤其是和教育相關的新聞傳播機構也是教育類專業(yè)畢業(yè)生傾向選擇的,主要從事教育類圖書的策劃和編輯工作。
政府單位,還有一些畢業(yè)生畢業(yè)后參加公務員考試進入教育行政單位,但要求教育類專業(yè)的公務員招考很少。
新技術教育領域是教育學畢業(yè)生的一個去向,在新技術教育領域從事教學媒體和教學系統(tǒng)設計、開發(fā)、運用、管理和評價等。
