機(jī)經(jīng)一詞最早出現(xiàn)是在GRE考試的機(jī)考中,原意為機(jī)考的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。由于GRE機(jī)考的試題隨機(jī)選擇并重復(fù)出現(xiàn),當(dāng)基數(shù)足夠大的時(shí)候,所有題目會(huì)對(duì)應(yīng)一個(gè)較為可靠的出現(xiàn)頻率。有較高頻率出現(xiàn)的題目,同樣也有較低頻率的,也有從未出現(xiàn)過(guò)的。由于隨機(jī)選擇也有一定規(guī)律,歷史上的高頻題目會(huì)在以后的考試中相對(duì)更容易碰到,所以很多考生通過(guò)機(jī)經(jīng)的總結(jié)來(lái)有針對(duì)性地復(fù)習(xí)試題,以達(dá)到最佳的考試效果。gmat機(jī)經(jīng)是指一切有關(guān)gmat考試的總結(jié)和試題的回憶。
“GMAT機(jī)經(jīng)”這個(gè)名詞的由來(lái)和托福機(jī)經(jīng)有關(guān)。機(jī)經(jīng)指的是上機(jī)考試經(jīng)驗(yàn),最先起源于托??荚嚕磳?duì)上機(jī)考試題目的回憶總結(jié)。GMAT考試包含AWA, IR, Quantitative和Verbal題目類(lèi)型,而Verbal又包含SC,CR,RC三部分,Quantitative包含PS和DS兩部分。
我曾經(jīng)看過(guò)這個(gè)題的(不記得是在AWA80篇還是prep??祭?,就是講一個(gè)汽車(chē)公司給luxury automobiles做廣告,六月份的revenues就比以往高很多,而他們同樣給inexpensive models做廣告,2月份的sales很就很低。所以得出結(jié)論要想提高revenues就給luxury做廣告,只center on luxury automobiles。

V2:一個(gè)汽車(chē)公司的管理者說(shuō), 6月份的時(shí)候他們將廣告的重心放在了奢侈汽車(chē)上,展覽也以奢侈產(chǎn)品為主,結(jié)果是奢侈產(chǎn)品和廉價(jià)的產(chǎn)品銷(xiāo)量都提高了;2月份時(shí),他們改變了策略,即將重心放在了廉價(jià)產(chǎn)品上,結(jié)果兩種產(chǎn)品的銷(xiāo)量都下降;管理者因此提議要整年都以奢侈產(chǎn)品的廣告和展覽為主,這樣才能保證那些潛在消費(fèi)者在購(gòu)買(mǎi)奢侈產(chǎn)品的同時(shí)購(gòu)買(mǎi)一些廉價(jià)產(chǎn)品。
The business manager of a local auto dealership recommended the following in a memo to the dealership’s owners: “During the month of June, when we advertised our luxury automobile models in the local newspapers and placed them in prominent positions on our lot and in our showroom, combined sales for both luxury models and our more inexpensive models reached the highest point for the year. In February, when we focused our advertisements on our inexpensive models and featured them on our lot and in our showroom, overall sales were lower. Clearly, if we want to maximize our profits, we need to put our luxury line front and center in a more prominent position, year-round. The luxury line clearly attracts potential consumers who, once they set foot on our auto lot, purchase a wide variety of automobiles that generate revenue for this dealership.

The business manager simply focuses on the two extremes–that the dealership should advertise luxury vehicles, or that the dealership should advertise inexpensive vehicles. The manager fails to acknowlegde and analyze the possibly of a mixed marketing campaign.

the author unfairly make the conclusion that advertisements only in inexpensive models caused overall sales were lower. A simple example is that February only has 28 days while June has 30. February also has more holidays like Presidents’ Day on which car dealerships are likely closed, and thus when no sales will take place.
