　　簡潔有效 代詞指代 習(xí)慣用語

　　1. 簡潔有效，include與among意思重復(fù)。

　　2. 代詞指代，GMAT中為避免指代的歧義與模糊，this/that/these/those通常都不單獨指代(注意有例外，具體見補(bǔ)充說明)。

　　3. 習(xí)慣用語：

　　sales of正確，意思為“xx的銷量”，沒有sales for一說。

　　threat of +抽象概念(xx的威脅)，threat from+sb.(來自某人的威脅)

　　選項分析：

　　A. ① include與among them意思重復(fù);②尾三詞的sales for不是正確的習(xí)慣用語，只有sales of;③ threat of +抽象概念，threat from+sb，suit是抽象概念，所以應(yīng)該用threat of;④declining sales for應(yīng)為decline in sales of…才能和前面的the threat of 邏輯含義上平行àboth are unfavorable things。

　　B. 定語從句中謂語動詞用了單數(shù)形式includes，所以which就近修飾了company，邏輯錯誤;同A的④。

　　C. 同A的②③④;among these錯誤，these不能做direct object，應(yīng)該用among them;as well as錯誤，兩件平行的事情被分了主次。

　　D. Correct;平行對稱很完美，兩組”the [abstract notion] of [concrete business/law concept]”的平行;在本題中including和among them都可以用，但是不能同時使用，否則重復(fù)。

　　E. 同A的②③;among these錯誤，these不能做direct object，應(yīng)該用among them;as well as錯誤，兩件平行的事情被分了主次。

　　補(bǔ)充說明：

　　1. among them the threat of a rival’s multibillion-dollar patent-infringement suit and the decline in sales of的結(jié)構(gòu)分析：

　　倒裝形式的獨立主格結(jié)構(gòu)，實際上是the threat of a rival’s multibillion-dollar patent-infringement suit and the decline in sales of the company’s powerful microprocessor chip among them,倒裝可以避免頭重腳輕，更重要的是among them中的them離其指代對象challenges更近。

　　獨立主格：among them A and B相當(dāng)于A and B among them，A and B被倒裝移到了后面，是”名詞+介詞”形式的獨立主格。

　　2. 關(guān)于these的單獨指代

　　prep1-34正確答案:

　　Besides adding complementary flavors to many foods, hot sauces stimulate the release of endorphins in the brain, just as exercise does, and these have a pain-relieving fect like morphine&aposs.

　　其中these指代endorphins。

　　OG11-115 錯誤答案(原句):

　　George Sand (Aurore Lucile Dupin) was one of the first European writers to consider the rural poor to be legitimate subjects for literature and portray these with sympathy and respect in her novels.

　　錯誤原因“A To be is unnecessary; these must be replaced by them”

　　相關(guān)解釋：

　　(1) these不能作direct object(直接賓語)，34中的these是主語, 不是直接賓語

　　(2) they指代前面出現(xiàn)的對象，these指代離它最近的對象，指代都要滿足邏輯符合，主謂一致的要求

　　綜上，prep1-34中用了these是可以的。而本題中these是做among的直接賓語，所以不妥。
